Amazing Boxing Day lunch at Jill and Merv's. What a fabulous meal!

Well what a year! Moving from Tabuk to Riyadh, changing jobs, holiday in Thailand, visiting Cyprus four times, sailing to Egypt, lots of jollies in Jordan, Bahrain and Dubai, nip and tuck in hospital (just joking, more nip than tuck!)and ... a new camera!
So what was your Christmas like? Mine was full of jollity and food. So much food in fact that I've put on 5 kilo's in ONE WEEK. Yes, it is possible to put that much on so conversely you must be able to loose it in the same amount of time. HUMPH!

The roads are packed with cars bumper to bumper and they all think that they are ... The Stig! Drivers here weave in and out with as much lane discipline as Fernando Alonso racing at the Bahrain Grand Prix! Every morning we see at least two road accidents on the way to work and one morning, when I took a taxi, I was even involved in a three car pile-up! Believe me it's as scary as bungy jumping off a cliff! So this was yesterday morning:



On the way home Phil suggested we have dinner at Planet Hollywood in the Kingdom Centre. Something we haven't been able to do for five years in Tabuk!
